Sussex Countryside Awards 2017 Organised by CPRE Sussex – the Sussex branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England – the award ceremony was held in the magnificent Petworth House on Wednesday, October 11th . Peacehaven Community Orchard Planting Sunday November 27th @ 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm Come plant Sussex apple trees with Brighton Permaculture Trust! They will be planting up to 10 trees on Sunday and caring for the ones  planted last year that got battered in the storm. They will be  working with Peacehaven Community Orchard to plant an orchard which will extend to 100 apple trees once planted. Apple Trees and Bees – Update on the Community Orchard.

  Peacehaven Community Orchard at the Big Park have been working with Brighton Permaculture Trust to plant an apple orchard. The west of the site has already been planted up with some of the toughest apple varieties they could find, as the site is currently rather exposed.
